The Essentials for getting you Covid safe

At Tri-Star Packaging, we are well known for our wide range of foodservice packaging, but as businesses continue to reopen as we come out of coronavirus lockdown, customers will be pleased to discover our Essentials and Chemical ranges which cover a core range of PPE, food preparation and hygiene products.

Alongside hygienic food packaging and wrapped cutlery Tri-Star's Essentials Range now features personal protection equipment (PPE) as well as convenient and flexible janitorial solutions from cleaning chemicals to paper hygiene products and cloths and wipes.

Tri-Star’s Essentials Range PPE products include face masks, powder-free vinyl gloves, aprons and hairnets. Tri-Star also stocks anti-bacterial soap, hand sanitisers, a touchless hand sanitiser dispenser station, and a range of signage illustrating social distancing guidelines.

Janitorial and cleaning products have always been offered alongside our core packaging ranges, but these are in focus now more than ever. For example, Tri-Star’s Cleanline range is already becoming popular in the casual dining sector. It provides solutions for all cleaning applications from washing up to cleaning floors, glass and hard surfaces.

Guidance on infection prevention and control for COVID-19 from Public Health England recommends a Chlorine based solution as a basic level of disinfection of surfaces. The Cleanline range offers three key products which adhere to this government guidance for best hygiene practice.

For example, Tri-Star’s Cleanline Ultra Disinfectant is sold in either a ready-to-use 750ml trigger spray bottle or in a 5-litre bottle. Suitable for use on hard surfaces, this non-hazardous, aldehyde-free disinfectant provides a broad-spectrum efficacy against bacteria, yeast and viruses including Coronavirus. This disinfectant is also independently tested to European Standard Test Method EN 1276, EN 14476 (contact time of 1 minute) and EN 13697.

Cleanline Ultra Disinfectant is a great product for wiping down surfaces as it gets to work quickly allowing for tables to be turned as quickly and safely as possible.

For another solution, Cleanline® Chlorine Tablets are NaDCC based and provide a spectrum of biocidal activity against food poisoning bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi. These quick dissolve, 18mm diameter tablets are multi-use - perfect for water purification, food preparation surfaces, equipment disinfection, mop soaking and bleaching.

For hand hygiene, Tri-Star’s Pristine hand sanitiser is alcohol-based and can be used throughout health care, food, and catering industries. The disinfectant is highly effective against resident and transient skin microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and viruses, including Norovirus. Any risk of food tainting in preparation areas is eliminated by the products perfume and dye free qualities. The effective emollients in the product also condition the skin, preventing irritation and dryness.
