  3. Foodservice made safe with facemasks & sanitisers

The new normal of the hospitality industry has seen many measures put in place to make sure that re-opened foodservice operations are safe spaces for both staff and customers.

From Friday the 24th of July, new government legislation has required customers to wear a face mask, scarf or other covering when shopping in stores and entering some hospitality venues - including takeaways. These guidelines should be adhered to by all customers, apart from children under 11 and those who have reasonable cause, such as a health condition.

Though not always mandatory within a hospitality environment, it is sensible for facemasks to be worn by staff and customers where possible. This ensures that the foodservice team and those dining are safe and protected.

At Tri-Star Packaging, we have 3 Ply Disposable Civilian Face Masks available for staff to wear during service and on the way to and from work. Masks reduce the spread of coronavirus and are welcomed by customers returning to venues. Sold in packs of 50, each protective mask has a comfortable ear loop and a Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) of 90%.

Alongside facemasks, staff can be equipped with personal bottles of alcohol-based hand sanitisers. This is an excellent way to ensure hands are regularly cleaned, even where soap and running water are not available. Tri-Star’s portable 100ml Hand Sanitiser’s kill germs and give added protection. They are highly effective against resident and transient skin microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and viruses. The 100ml bottle can be opened using the screw top lid and refilled from a larger container.

Keep safe with facemasks and hand sanitisers now available from Tri-Star. To order, call 020 8443 9100 or email enquiries@jamesw230.sg-host.com.
